Council Meetings

Function/Purpose:

As the legislative branch of the City of Davis municipal government, the City Council holds open public meetings where local laws, policies, and basic decisions for the municipality are discussed and decided. City Council members are elected at large - Davis does not have council districts. The City Council then selects one member to serve as Mayor, and one to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore.
Meeting Time:

The Davis City Council holds regular meetings beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, with exception of the fifth Tuesday of the month and the Tuesday prior to a holiday.  Check the Schedule of Upcoming Meeting Dates and the posted agendas below for currently scheduled meetings.
